Prof Warren recieved his undergraduate degree from Tuskegee University in 1988 after which he joined the technical staff of Hughes Aircraft. He returned to Kent State University to recieve his masters degree and then the University of Georgia for his Ph.D. in 2000. He was Senior Optical Engineer with Quantira Technologies and a postdoc at Brown University and the University of Southern Mississippi before joing the Physics Department at IU in 2005.
